Was a bit gruesome but incredibly realistic.
Although the transformers part at the end made me kind of go 'eh' because it wasn't realistic at all.
All in all amazing movie though, and I guess a bit of rocket catching badassery is never uncalled for.

I found the mech part to be fairly realistic for a futuristic alien race, even if the general population of said race had fallen into massive poverty

I might just be a bit thrown off because of how high the bar had been raised throughout the movie when it came to being realistic, and when the mech part came out I was just like 'Woah woah what happened?'

They had been running around with alien lasers and tech, why is an alien vehicle so odd?

I'm ok, just turned out to be a disease caused by chronic second hand smoke and the swine flues.
