If the past few years haven't taught you to completely disregard anything we tell you about release dates, there's something deficient in your brain. On the other hand, the game is actually coming together very nicely. I won't give a date other than 'soonish', but I will say that basically all the artwork is done, the levels are sorted, most of the coding for challenges, fighting and so on is done, so basically it's just a matter of tweaking the levels and finishing up the interface. Instead of hanging around waiting though I advise you go play any one of a number of other fine games being released this season, or even go back and play an old classic. Try and forget about CF2 completely, that way it'll be a pleasant surprise when it's done instead of a disappointment when it doesn't cause spontaneous orgasms.
