I know that SHIT is an acronym for "Ship high in transit", because manure was ferried on ships and got wet, releasing gas, which might explode if someone went down there for a ciggy or sumthin.
Also, F U C K stands for "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge"... it's a court term.

I am sure those are just urban myths. Not every word is an acronym you know.
  Some jerk once told me that fuck stood for "fornication under the consent of the king" and I was like "Nooooo I don't think so."
  Only one I can think of which actually is (as far as I know) would be good ol' port out starboard home, unless what ever musical that delightful song that's from made that one up too, in which case, no, words in common usage tend to be actual words derived from other languages.

i think it would be nice to take those life bars and put them on the outer side of the games browser so that way they are not in the way when you go to create your own arena game. hate it when i want to utilize all the fun space and have to cut some of that space out cuz of those life bars, cant play with those in the way when trying to utilize the space.

Yeah i think those bars are kinda annoying but i guess we are past that stage.

It's not that dumb. It would be difficult to do well though. Conagon, have you actually thought about how that would work? What sorts of components and combinations would there be?
I'm refining my earlier estimate of of one million ghosts, down to several thousand. It is still a cause for concern.

I made a game in which there are 8 general parts of a ship. You start with a tiny little ship, and fly private cargo missions, but as you play you can upgrade your parts and mix and match and go from a tiny shuttle to an enourmous flagship that is, I think, 20x bigger than the shuttle, with something like an average of 19 different parts for it, most doing different jobs, and every possible combination fits into a certain catagory. Of course, due to a glaring flaw in programming that I didn't notice until I had most of the gameplay elements finished, I had to scrap it. :(

Sounds a lot like a game I was planning to make except my programming was flawless, the flaw was in my inability to complete projects.
