No one who was the first to do anything "Knew what they were doing," and while, yes the first ones were amazingly epic and I still have them/play them occasionally, the newest ones, while still great games, just don't strike my fancy. Blizzard acheived something quit epic when they made WC: FT. So balanced, yet so open. Objectives so clear, yet so much you could do. So much Blizzard layed before us and told us we can enjoy, but yet they still let us do our own thing. And also, all the units in the game are so unique while at the same time you can see them fighting together; all are in a fantasy world of swords and magic, and yet every one of them are completely beleiveable.
